Terra Lingua USA students travel comfortably knowing that we focus on even the most minute details. This personalized attention is provided by our representatives, coordinators, chaperones and offices abroad. In France, Spain, Germany, and Russia we have a reliable network whose sole purpose is to make your stay abroad a success.
Whether foreign language teachers, state coordinators, or representatives, we all come from a long history of experience with education, foreign languages, and international exchanges. Our team has drawn from our best and most successful endeavors to put together quality programs that will meet your needs.
Families invite students in the hopes of making a new friends and exchanging cultural understanding. Because of our strong commitment to host families, we are proud to offer volunteer, easy-going, open-minded students who possess a genuine pioneering spirit.
All of our students are insured in the case of emergency, illness or liability. Terra Lingua USA short-term participants will also be assured of the support of a local foreign coordinator during their stay abroad. For Teacher-Led Groups (where teachers escort a group of their own students on one of our programs), the teacher's role abroad is to offer assurance to parents and students that someone of their own nationality and language is available to provide encouragement and assistance whenever needed. Our local coordinators and national offices are there as well to support you throughout your stay.
For most programs, participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from the destination country's airport. They are then met by an escort, after clearing Customs, who will escort the student to the host family, or help with pre-arranged transportation connections. Participants are under the responsibility of Terra Lingua USA from the program start date to the program ending date.
