Terra Lingua USA supports teachers' efforts in the classroom by providing quality educational opportunities. Our Teacher-led programs will increase knowledge and fluency by offering students optimum opportunities to immerse themselves in the language and culture of the host country. Throughout the school year, Terra Lingua USA offers 7 to 14 day homestays abroad (or more if you wish!) combined with optional excursions and/or school attendance. You may also choose to design a customized experience for your students.

In homestay programs the teacher and students are placed in families living in the same general area. Teachers not planning to go abroad can still encourage their students to take advantage of this learning opportunity. Terra Lingua USA provides the support needed to made each student's stay a success.

In 2001, Richard Catania, French teacher at Trinity School in Midland, Texas, led 23 of his students on a Terra Lingua USA trip to France. The adventure began on Omaha Beach in Normandy, the American Cemetery and Mont St. Michel. The students stayed with host families in Brittany and immersed themselves in the French culture and language. After the homestay, they attended a sailing camp in Concarneau and finished their stay in Paris.
