This independent homestay program is recommended for mature students who are experienced in travel, can make connecting flights to Bilbao, Spain without assistance, and are comfortable without chaperone supervision while in Spain. By making your own travel arrangements, you gain flexibility in choosing travel dates that best fit your schedule, and allows you the advantage of using your frequent flyer miles.
You still have the same access to our support network during your stay abroad. Escorts abroad will meet you upon arrival and departure. Deadline for summer program applications is May 15th.
Program note: Host families receive a minimal compensation for hosting as is customary for Spain.
