Terra Lingua USA's Purpose
Terra Lingua USA is a not-for-profit, educational organization dedicated
to promoting language education and international understanding by
providing family homestay immersion experiences. We offer affordable and
quality cultural exchanges through an experienced and caring network.
History
Terra Lingua USA, founded in October 1997, is established as a
not-for-profit educational organization to coordinate activities in the
U.S.
Terra Lingua USA International Partners
Terra Lingua USA has international partners in Belgium, Brazil, China,
Colombia, France, Germany, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Russia,
Spain, and Taiwan.
Structure
Terra Lingua USA is represented in the United States and abroad by an
experienced network of local and state coordinators who work in
cooperation with students, host families, and foreign language teachers.
Our coordinators and local representatives are foreign language
teachers, host families, previous exchange students! They are
responsible for screening, placement, orientation, and providing
one-on-one ongoing support to the students and host families.

The Mission of Terra Lingua USA is to provide quality international
exchange experiences in an effort to promote global understanding and
experiential education to people worldwide. To fulfill this mission,
